New Zealand born musician Grace, discovered her love for singing in the church and showed aspirations to learn the piano after attending her fathers’ lessons at a very young age. Stylistically her sound is heavily influenced by artists within the R&B, soul and gospel genres. Throughout her music career she has worked alongside Stan Walker, Adeaze, Erakah, Vince Harder, Sons of Zion, Fiji, Ill Semantics and more. She has also performed at many events ranging from Pasifika, Selective Sounds (WOMAD), Parachute Festival, Warriors games, X-Factor NZ. In 2011 she won Most Promising Artist at the Pacific Music Awards. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the University of Auckland, she moved into the teaching profession. Currently she is working alongside young people teaching Performing Arts at her former school, Avondale Intermediate. Her hope is to release an EP album of original music that will inspire, uplift and encourage her listeners.
